My coworker saw this Prada shop live and in person. He said they only keep one shoe in the store, so in case someone tries to steal, they will only get one shoe.

It’s not actually a shop - it’s an art installation outside of Marfa, TX, part of Donald Judd’s Chinati Foundation that has turned the tiny town into an art extravaganza (and really upped the real estate prices). The Prada store is a sculpture by German artists Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset. But it’s true about the shoes!
